One in four American women continue to smoke during pregnancy. This number is alarming. Smoking is a personal decision, and a personal choice, however babies in the womb have no choice. I want to inform readers of the specific effects smoking has on fetal development; for both personal and educational reasons in hopes to encourage any smoking mothers to stop.
